The Whirlpool (Naruto) jig is a machining jig for clamping ring gear-shaped products.
By flexibly adjusting the workpiece center alignment and clamping position with the spindle motion of a single-axis general-purpose machine, a single Whirlpool (Naruto) jig can handle a wide variety of workpieces.
It realizes “reduction of investment” in jigs and “reduction of man-hours” required for changeover.

- Conventional jigs used in the machining of ring gear-shaped products are not versatile, and the need to prepare a jig for each type of product results in a large cost.
- In addition, when changing the type of product, man-hours are required to change the jig.

- The “Whirlpool (Naruto) Jig” allows the clampers to be adjusted freely, making it possible to handle a wide variety of workpieces with a single unit.
- Furthermore, by adjusting the clamper position and centering the workpiece during spindle motion, automatic changeover is realized, contributing to investment reduction and manpower saving.
- The name of the product comes from the shape of the changeover disk on the back side of the clamping surface, which resembles the “naruto” food (symbolizing a whirlpool).
